When we are born we are someone's child, be it a son or daughter.

CBS Diversity Writers Mentoring Program

CBS Seeks Applicants for Diversity Writers Mentoring Program

The CBS Diversity Institute Writers Mentoring Program is now accepting applications.

The program welcomes aspiring writers, with a focus on candidates of color, to apply for the six-month session that will include mentorship opportunities with senior-level writers and producers and creative executives from CBS, The CW and Paramount TV. Participants will receive support to improve their writing skills and will receive career advice.

The application submission period runs March 1 through May 1, with the program scheduled to begin in September and run through next May. In the last five years, the program has had 33 graduates, with 17 of them branching into careers in episodic TV.
